Buy a Theater Chair

You can help the theatre by buying a theater chair. For a one hundred dollar donation you can have a name of your choice placed on a plaque on the chair. Celebrate loved ones with their name on a chair and help cover the theatre construction costs.

Everyday Angels Become one of the angels among us.  Our Everyday Angels donate just $10 or more each month to help insure that the wonderful programs of PMA stay strong and vital, today and into the future.  Like a family, we need everyone to pitch in.  These contributions are needed now to help us transition to the new building.   Our goal is to add $2,000.00 a month of Everyday Angels. Click on the Donate Now button above and choose "recurring transaction" rather than one-time donation. Follow the prompts and you are done. It is simple, tax-deductible and of great benefit. Your support is critical as we transition into a more financially stable future.

Invest in the Arts

What if you could do something that benefited both you and your community at the same time?  Sounds great doesn’t it?  Well, if you have money invested in standard savings, certificate of deposit, or most investments, you probably aren’t earning fantastic interest.  Chances are it is less than 4%.  However, if you are borrowing money, you will probably be paying a great deal of interest.

We are looking for people who can loan us $3,000 or more at 4% interest or 1% above their interest cost.  That allows you to receive a significant return on a stable investment and allows us to payoff our start-up debt sooner.  We have worked with a banker and an attorney to insure that the contract protects your investment.  You will receive a schedule of regular payments clearly showing principal and interest paid.

Your investment will enable us to continue providing excellent arts opportunities in the community.  It will also provide you an excellent return on your investment both financially and through the benefit to the community.  Please consider this option as you review your financial planning.  Contact our office for more details. 

Car Donation Give us your unwanted car, and we all benefit.  You get to declare the sale price of the vehicle as a tax-deductible donation and PMA can have a new home to continue providing quality arts opportunities to the community.  If you have a vehicle you no longer need, please give Jim a call at 503-234-2119 and we will make the necessary arrangements.  We handle all paperwork and will arrange for pick up or delivery.

Employee Donation Match

Many companies, both local and national, will match donations made by their employees to PMA dollar for dollar.  We have a list of over 200 companies with donation-matching programs.  There are many other companies with similar programs.  Take a moment to look over the list and encourage family and friends employed by those companies to make a donation.  Contact your company Human Resource department for further details.  It is a wonderful way to double your donation. 

Escrip

A unique fundraising opportunity.  Take a few minutes to register at Escrip, then shop at your favorite stores using your store reward card, debit card or credit card.  A portion of your purchase is then automatically donated to Portland Metro Performing Arts.  Our Escrip ID number is 151278870.  To sign up, log onto www.escrip.com or call our office and we will do it for you.  We receive the contribution at no additional cost to you.  How great is that?
