Kid's Play! School Grades 1-6
Curtain Up! Light the Lights! We have a show to do! Discover basic skills through theatre games, improvisation, playwriting, character development and movement, as we create a performance piece that will be presented in our theatre. Students will develop confidence and self-esteem through ensemble building. The kids become actors, directors, tech crew, and producers in this creative process. Three plays are produced and performed throughout the school year.
Calling all budding actors for the most fun you will have all summer. Our performance will bring well-known stories to life and open the exciting world of the theatre.
Reliving Radio Theatre School Grade 4-Adult
Recreate a classic radio show complete with sound effects. Re-live the golden days of radio by working with original scripts from actual shows. Performances are held at our own theatre and throughout the community. A Christmas to Remember and Charles Dickens's classic A Christmas Carol are this season's projects along with other smaller works. Call for information about class dates and fees.
Technical TheatreMiddle School-Adult
Become a pro with set, light, make-up, sound, and costume design. Develop the skills in class and use them to crew actual shows. Get the up-close backstage perspective with field trips to professional theatres and shops. The small class group allows for much individual attention with lots of one-on-one instruction.
Grades 1 - 4
Singing peas, bad babies, barnyard boogie and tap dancing Rhinos in a wacky and fun musical theatre production for kids. Calling actors, singers and dancers of all levels for the most fun you will have all Summer. The production has something for everyone from beginners through accomplished performers.
